Emma-Lou here & the founder of Sweet Sugaring.

I have been an advocate of the beauty industry for 17 years and a Sugarista for 7. Working on land and sea, I have an extensive background in spa, wellness and beauty therapy. I have both a teaching and International Spa Management degree to support my main passion, Education & Training.

My focus has always been based around sustainable and organic beauty, a sector within the beauty industry that is growing by the day and in turn led me to sugaring and where I am today. I’m a sucker for education and believe good education can be fun, exciting whilst teaching you the skills required to succeed.

I fell in love with sugaring the moment I laid my eyes on the honey like paste. For me Sugaring is the definition of beauty, it’s simple, understated and timeless. Using 3 simple ingredients and an ancient method, to deliver exceptional hair removal results.  

As I write this today, I know I am exactly where I am meant to be. Yet, it hasn’t always felt that way, you have to follow your gut instincts and trust the process. Know you will get to your destination, the road isn’t always a straight path and there’s usually a few bumps along the way, but know these obstacles are what make the journey so rewarding.

That’s my past, present and future self signing off to spend some quality time with my family and my neglected allotment.
